The copyright, at first often called the Order with the copyright, was an elite organization founded in Bavaria by Adam Weishaupt in 1776, directed at instigating spiritual and political transformation. At its peak, the group grew from 5 to around 2,000 customers throughout Europe, comprising influential leaders who opposed entrenched superstitions
